GPS One Needs Plan Check 10:40-11:40am (Please Bring Computers)
This interactive session introduces our new Galion City Schools' Assessment Guide and the new Summative Assessment Planning document. Participants will explore the purpose of district and state assessments, key assessment windows, and how our assessment system supports teaching and learning throughout the school year. Teachers will then begin developing their individual or team's Summative Assessment Plan by identifying major assessments, considering the balance and timing of assessments across the year, and ensuring alignment to priority learning standards. By the end of the session, teams will have a stronger understanding of the district's assessment system and a solid foundation for purposeful assessment planning.
